                                              Police ID Pens For FREE

     SAN DIEGO, CA--July 16, 2009--JS&M Sale & Marketing Inc., a unique San

Diego writing pen manufacturer, has announced it will donate several of its ID Pens, a

pen that invisibly marks property for security purposes, to local police stations and

community watch groups.

The ID Pen contains a unique invisible ink that is semi-permanent.  It actually bonds

molecularly to the surface written on. The pen's invisible ink can be seen under an

ultraviolet lamp by police departments.

According to Mike Senoff, president of JS&M Sale & Marketing Inc., "The ID Pen

can be more useful to local neighborhood watch groups and police stations than the

vibrating engravers. The vibrating engravers imbed scratches and can damage the

property. People don't like to use them because these marks destroy the resale value of

the property." Because of the low price and convenience of the ID Pen, everyone in the

community can now own their own personal property protection device." "Police

stations who promote the use of The ID Pens will close cases faster, save time, save

money and get the public to use the pens easier than outdated engravers." For

New Invisible Ink Pen May Empty Police Stolen Property Lockers

San Diego, CA – A San Diego security expert has designed an Invisible Ink Pen that may cause police to empty stolen property rooms and return items to victims quickly. By marking items with ink that can only be seen by ultra violet light, police will know exactly whom merchandise belongs to. “When police arrest burglars, they often find merchandise that was stolen from several, if not dozens, of other robberies,” said Michael Senoff. “Often that merchandise sits for years in police evidence room because officials have no idea whom it belongs to. Sometimes it even gets put up for police auction, just to clear the room out.” Senoff has made his reputation in the security industry through supplying police and corporations with technology in the war against counterfeiting. It is through his extensive police contacts that he discovered just how hard it can be to return stolen property to its rightful owner.

Thieves know that when they steal a high end item, such as a television or a DVD player, the police can prove it is stolen by matching the serial numbers to police reports. For this reason burglars often remove or switch serial numbers. Therefore, when police raid a burglar’s home and find dozens of television sets, they may know the merchandise is stolen, but have no way of proving whom it belongs to.

The Invisible Ink Pen solves this problem. With it, a property owner can write down a personal mark, for example their driver’s license number, on the back of the television or VCR. Because the ink is invisible, the burglar or fence will have no idea it is there.“ The odds of a burglar going house to house with an ultra violet light are very small,” Senoff said. “The average burglar, out for a quick score, just wants to get in and out as quickly as possible. Any burglary tools they bring with them only serve to give police Probable Cause.” Some police departments encourage homeowners to write personal information down on the back of their possessions. If this is done with a regular pen, however, a burglar can find ways to erase the information or even substitute it with fraudulent information. The Invisible Ink Pen solves this problem as well. The ink is only visible under ultra violet light. When police recover what they think are stolen goods, they can look at the back with the light and see the information. No matter what has happened to the serial number, the police will be able to prove whom the merchandise really belongs to. Therefore victims can prove the merchandise really belongs to them. New Invisible Ink Pen Helps Legitimize Honest Pawnshops

San Diego, CA – A San Diego security expert today announces the release of an Invisible Ink Pen that will help legitimate pawnshops work with police to avoid trading in stolen goods. If burglary victims have used the pen, pawnshop owners will know goods they receive are stolen and work with police to return them to their rightful owners.

"Pawnshops can be a great legitimate resource to honest people who need to raise some quick cash," said security expert Michael Senoff. "Unfortunately they have garnered a bad reputation because burglars often try to use them as fences for stolen goods." Goods stolen during house burglaries rarely travel far from where they were taken. For the most part burglars sell the products to local fences and pawnshops.

The problem is that burglars know that if they simply remove or change the serial numbers on the items it becomes nearly impossible to prove whom the merchandise belongs to.

"This create a serious problem for pawnshop owners, who want to be upstanding members of the community," Senoff said.

Police give legitimate pawnshops the serial numbers of good that have been reported stolen. Unfortunately, if a crafty crook has managed to switch or erase the serial numbers, there is no way for the pawnshop to know that the goods have been stolen.

The Invisible Ink Pen solves this problem. With it, a property owner can write down a personal mark, for example their driver’s license number, on the back of the television or VCR. No matter what has happened to the serial number, the shop owners will be able to prove whom the merchandise really belongs to. For additional information call (858) 274-7851

Invisible Ink Pen Acts As New Cop On The Street

San Diego, CA – A San Diego security expert has created an Invisible Ink Pen that acts like a new cop on the beat of your town to bring burglars to justice. By making marks that only police and other experts can see, the pen allows potential crime victims to prove what merchandise belongs to them. "Burglars steal from homes because they know that if they switch serial numbers they can sell the goods without getting caught," Michael Senoff said. "For this same reason, police often don't go after burglaries with the same force they pursue other crimes."

Senoff has made his reputation in the security industry through supplying police and corporations with technology in the war against counterfeiting. Police officials always respond to burglary complaints and want to help victims track down their property. After all, the victims are their friends and neighbors.

The problem is that burglars and fences know that if they simply remove or change the serial numbers on the items, it becomes nearly impossible to prove whom the merchandise belongs to. Police give legitimate pawnshops the serial numbers of good that have been reported stolen. Unfortunately, if a crafty crook has managed to switch or erase the serial numbers, there is no way for the pawnshop to know that the goods have been stolen .

The Invisible Ink Pen solves this problem. With it, a property owner can write down a personal mark, for example their driver’s license number, on the back of the television or VCR. Because the ink is invisible, the burglar or fence will have no idea it is there. “It is like having an extra cop on the beat,” Senoff said. Some police departments encourage homeowners to write personal information down on the back of their possessions. If this is done with a regular pen, however, a burglar can find ways to erase the information or even substitute it with fraudulent information.

Police Department Offers New Service

UAMS Police Department recently acquired a new theft protection device. A pen using invisible ink

will allow departments to mark equipment such as fax machines, telephones and copiers with

identification numbers that will help locate the property in the event that it is stolen. The branding

pen is available to any department as a free service provided by the Crime Prevention and Training

Division of the UAMS Police Department.

“The invisible ink makes a permanent mark only visible with the use of a black light,” said Officer Al

Taylor of the crime prevention and training division of the UAMS Police Department. The pen

offers an alternative to the traditional electric pen used for branding equipment. UAMS Police

officers will mark the equipment of anyone wishing to partake of the new service. Interested parties

should contact Michael Senoff  at 858-274-7851

SECURE MARKING PEN DEVELOPED TO STOP SOFTWARE THIEVES

April, 1997 - Innovative Security Products announces the development of Secure Marking Pen, an

invisible ink marking pen used to label computer software, tapes, and CD ROM’s.

Secure Marking Pen is a theft deterrent system that allows you or police to detect, identify and

return stolen property fast in the event of theft. This invisible permanent ink marks all surfaces,

including glass, paper, wood, plastic, metal and cloth. Secure Marking Pen does not stain, damage

or deface software. Marks are visible under a special ultraviolet light carried by law enforcement

including police, detectives and pawn shops. Warning labels are also included in the Secure

Marking Pen kit, to further deter possible theft.

"Equipment and product theft is one of the fastest-growing and most lucrative segments of the

computer industry. In fact, corporate America looses over $8 billion annually to theft of computer

equipment and software," said Andrew Cameron, General Manager of ISP.

An increasing problem in most organizations is software theft involving personnel within the

company, as well as outsiders. These diskette’s and ROM’s are easy to carry away in a purse,

briefcase, or coat pocket. Reports indicate a rapid increase in the disappearance and theft of

software CD’s. Corporations realize that the CD’s are missing when it they need to update or re-

install software, causing serious delays. According to the American Society of Industrial Security in

Arlington Virginia, more than half of all high-valued corporate thefts are employee related.

"Most thefts occur because, despite the best intentions, security procedures are inadequate or

dysfunctional. You must implement loss prevention measures that can help to protect your

companies property, preserve the bottom line, and ensure that the resources necessary to your

employees productivity are available when needed." Cameron added.
